Since some things are not public knowledge, and not everyone is a tattoo expert, we have compiled a few bits of information for you to make your experience here go smoothly. We will be adding things to this list occasionally as the situations arise.

• You must be 18 years old to get a tattoo. We do not tattoo minors.
  

• We only accept government issued photo I.D's as forms of identification. There are NO exceptions. We cannot and will not tattoo you if you do not have proper I.D.  VALID passports, State I.D. cards, military I.D's and drivers licenses are all acceptable.
  

• All appointments require a $80 deposit. This is non refundable. No exceptions. The deposit goes towards the final price of the tattoo. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please be kind and call at least 24 hours in advance. Your artist will appreciate it, and your deposit will transfer to your new appointment. If you do not call or show up for your appointment you will forfeit your deposit. If you decide you just don't want to get tattooed after the deposit has been made, you will also forfeit it.

• If you are going to be late for your appointment please be courteous and call the shop. The artist can then determine if there will be enough time to do the tattoo or if it will need to be rescheduled. If you do not call and just show up late your deposit may still be forfeited. It would be the artists decision at that point.

• Artwork is considered property of the artists. Sorry we cannot email or text designs. If you'd like to see your design before your appointment please call to make sure it is ready, then stop in to view it.

• We cannot give you a price estimate over the phone since we cannot see your design.

• Please call the shop to make an appointment. We cannot do that through email or text messages.
  

​

• Get plenty of rest the night before your tattoo appointment. Do eat a good meal prior to appointment and be well hydrated. Do not drink alcohol or take drugs "to relax" for your tattoo. It is not necessary and we will not be able to tattoo you if you are under the influence.

• Any Inksanity staff member has the right to ask anyone to leave the premises at any time, refuse sales and refuse to tattoo any person for any reason. If you are asked to leave due to your behavior, please just do so. Seriously, don't make us get you a police escort.

• Do not try to make side deals with the artists. They will not come to your house to do a "party" for you. This could lead to them getting fired and you getting banned from the shop.

• Please do not bring children to your appointment. Tattoo studios are not a place for kids, there are too many hazards. It is an adult environment and we do not provide daycare services.

• Your design may or may not work as a tattoo. It is up to the artist to determine this and give you advice.
  

​

• We do not do gang, racial or hate related tattoo designs, so please don't ask.

• Obtaining a tattoo is by your choice alone.  A tattoo is a permanent change to your appearance. You're an adult, it's your tattoo. If your parents do not like your tattoo, it's up to you to deal with it, not us. Do not have them call us because they don't like your decision, we will not discuss it with them.

• ​Please refrain from wearing fragrances as a courtesy to those with chemical sensitivities. 
  

• If you have an appointment on a day that we are expecting or experiencing bad weather, please call the shop before heading out. Most of our artists live further out where the weather can be worse than it is here locally. If we are closed or closing we will call you to reschedule on our first day back open. Everyones safety is our main concern.
